Scale Inhibitor (SI - 171)

SI 171 has been developed primarily to prevent scale in crude oil production operations. It can also be used to prevent calcium sulphate and calcium carbonate scaling. |
| Description |
SI 171 is a synergistic mixture of chelating agents used to effectively control the scale formation in an oil field. It gives protection from mineral scale deposition even under elevated temperatures and pressure. This product may be introduced into system by continuous injection or by squeeze treatment. |
| Application |
SI 171 may be injected, on a continuous basis, at 5-50 PPM dosage rates depending on the severity of the problem. |
| Handling |
SI 171 can be stored in closed containers away from direct sunlight at ambient temperature. During handling, direct contact with human body is to be avoided. Safety goggles and gloves are recommended for safe handling. The spillage can be washed with copious amount of water. On Ingestion/Eye contact with the product, material should be sought immediately. |
